Helen's People List
This kind of list is a bit obsolete now that the social networking websites
have taken over everything... So this list is left for those people who are
antiquated and still have personal webpages as opposed to blogs. Most of
these folks are on all the social networks as well.
- Chris Chiappa -- helpful
guy especially with technical stuff like Linux -- loves the movie The
Usual Suspects -- met him in an IRC channel (#cmu) of all places :) --
CMU class of 1998, he now works at Oracle at a site up near Boston
- Andrew Davenport --
CMU class of 98 -- now works at Agilent -- I have never seen this guy
wear jeans, he's always wearing khakis -- scarily enough he listens to
country music and has detasseling experience :) -- another person whom I
met on channel #cmu (while I was at CMU during freshman year)
- Rachel Kern -- Newton
Massachusetts native who is currently getting a Master's at the MIT Media
Lab. Former indie rock star flautist and keyboardist for LavaJet.
- John Muir --
listens to King Crimson, Marillion, Rush -- Twin Peaks fan :) -- graduated
Law at UPitt and currently commutes on PAT transit all around the 'Burgh
- Will Skolochenko -- he's
into lomo photography, robots, space ninjas, trains, snowboarding, soccer,
real hip hop, DJing, and more...
- Trey Smith
-- knew this guy when I was at CMU, he graduated in my year...I would
call him super-intellectual
- Lynne Venart -- she likes
painting, and a favorite subject of hers is bugs. Graphic designer
who teaches mobile-making to all sorts of people, and likes to give out
doll heads as presents. She is going to grad school in the fall of 2005.
- Martin Zinkevich -- he's so
descriptive, isn't he? :) Not surprising that he doesn't have time for
webpage design since he is at CMU for a PhD in CS. I went to high school
with this guy. Just as I was leaving CMU, he decides to go there for a
good 4+ years of his life
